archivetable — Archive rows of a BillMax database table

Synopsis

/usr/local/billmax/bin/archivetable [-c] [-d] [-f datefield] [-o directory] [-p period] [-s date] [-t table]

DESCRIPTION

Copy or move data from a table based on date. The default is to move the data. Currently only supports the datacall table.

OPTIONS

-h

Show help for this program.

-c

Data is copied instead of moved.

-d

Show what will happen without doing anything.

-f datefield

The date field to which the -s date parameter is compared. The default is the entdate.

-o directory

Output directory. It not specified archives will be written to database tables.

-p period

The number of months to store in each archive.

-s date

The date through which the data is archived.

-t table

The database table to archive.

RETURN VALUE

0 for success.
