dbread — Read a value from the BillMax database.

Synopsis

/usr/local/billmax/bin/dbread [-h] {table.field} {number}

DESCRIPTION

Reads a value from the field of a row from a specific table of the BillMax database and prints the result to stdout.

OPTIONS

-h: Show help for this program.
table.field: The table and field.
number: The value of the number field of the database table. Used to specify which row of the table to use.

RETURN VALUE

System value EX_OK for success.

The value of the field is printed to stdout.
