Configuring Terminal Servers

In the context of BillMax, any device that is used to provide a service (such as dial-up access) and grants access to the service by using RADIUS authentication and will send RADIUS accounting packets to radiusd is considered a Terminal Server.

The accounting data from a Terminal Server may be used to track and bill usage for a Service.

Click on the Settings link on the Navigation Bar. Click on the "TERMINAL SERVERS" button. The Terminal Servers page will be displayed:

Name of the terminal server. May or may not be fully qualified.

(2)

IP address of the terminal server in decimal dot notation.

The Resource Set of the terminal server. See resources table

The numeric representation of of the Resource Set. In this example, Resource 1 is "radius" and Resource 4 is "radiusconstant". Resource Set Value = 21-1 + 24-1, which is 1 + 8 equaling 9.

To select/de-select multiple individual Resources, hold down the Ctrl key when making the mouse clicks. The same may be done with a range of Resources by holding down the Shift key when making mouse clicks.
