The DBLOG log file

In a typical BillMax installation, the DBLOG setting in /usr/local/billmax/local/billmax.conf is set to "YES" and the DBLOG_FILE setting in /usr/local/billmax/local/billmax.conf is set to "/usr/local/billmax/logs/db.log. This specifies a BillMax generated log file to which all database transactions are recorded. This log file may be compressed and renamed daily if the setting LOG_ROTATE in /usr/local/billmax/local/billmax.conf is greater than 0. The renaming done is similar to that for the MySQL log file.

Using either /usr/local/billmax/local/backup_hook or some other method, consider copying the files in /usr/local/billmax/logs with a file type of ".gz" to offline storage.
