bxos — Print information about the operating system on which BillMax is installed

Synopsis

/usr/local/billmax/bin/bxobj [-s] [-s1] [-r] [-m] [-n] [-h]

DESCRIPTION

Prints information about the operating system on which BillMax is installed. This information is for BillMax use and may not be "accurate" with respect to the actual operating system. For example, a FreeBSD 5 operating system is mapped to FreeBSD4.

OPTIONS

-s, -s1

Print the name of the operating system. Valid responses are:

  • RedHat

  • Slackware

  • FreeBSD2

  • FreeBSD3

  • FreeBSD4

  • BSDI

-n

Print host name (minus any domain name).

-m

Print hardware description.

-r

Print operating system release.

-h

Print host name (minus any domain name).

RETURN VALUE

0 for success.
