Hot Spot billing occurs when a cafe, hotel, resort, etc. would like to offer wireless access to the internet for it patrons. These patrons may be one time users, or may establish an ongoing account.

Using BillMax for Hot Spot billing is dependent on integration with Hot Spot equipment.

The BillMax Customer Interface may be used to collect customer billing information, charge a credit card, and then allow immediate access to the Hot Spot for a specific period of time (hours, days, etc.).

When the time purchased expires, BillMax can automatically terminate a customer's Hot Spot session. In addition, a customer may purchase more time before his session expires thereby extending the session.

BillMax is currently integrated with Hot Spot equipment from ReefEdge.
