Install CentOS 7.x® for BillMax

Describes a basic installation of Cent OS for BillMax. Specifics such as network interface name, host name, IP address, etc. will differ. 64 bit architecture is required.

1. Retrieve from http://www.centos.org the latest version of the Minimal ISO 64 bit for Cent OS 7.
2. Start the installation
3. Choose Test this media & install CentOS 7.
   
   
4. Click Continue.
   
   
5. Click Next.
6. Click Date & Time to set the Time Zone.
   
   
7. Scroll down and Click Installation Destination to set disk partitioning.
   
   
8. Click Network & Host Name to set networking parameters. Set hostname to an entry that is or will be in DNS.
9. Click Begin Installation. Installation will begin
10. Click Root Password to set the password. Not User need be created at this time.
    
    
11. Click Reboot.
    
    
    DANGER

    Do not install any other software or packages until after the install and configure steps for BillMax. Doing so may cause the BillMax installation or configuration steps to fail.
