VOIP Plans

A VOIP plan contains the information necessary to bill using data from CDRs. Data from the CDRs may be used to rate Long Distance calls, sum Plan Minutes, bill for N11 calls, etc. All this is governed by the VOIP Plan.

A VOIP Plan is attached to a Package or Service Definition. By virtue of this attachment, a Package or Service based on the Package or Service Definition is considered during CDR Association.

If a Package or Service is based off a VOIP Package or Service Definition, a customized VOIP plan may be added to the Package or Service. This allows for special VOIP pricing for a particular Package or Service without having to create additional Package or Service Definitions.

A VOIP plan may be marked as "Do Not Bill". This is useful for when first implementing a new VOIP plan. Automated billing is suspended.
