BillMax 2025 Q4 - December 10, 2025
BillMax 2025 Q4 brings a significant round of improvements across the platform. In addition to updates required for upcoming USPS API changes, we’ve delivered dozens of enhancements that improve stability, performance, REST API quality, financial accuracy, and overall day-to-day usability. It supports the new USPS Address Verification API since the older version will be retired on January 25, 2026. There are also additional REST APIs for one-time items, invoices, and Virtual Companies. Bundles functionality was expanded to include package elements.
BillMax 2025 Q2 - April 24, 2025
BillMax 2025 Q2 added credit card surcharges. A surcharge can be added when a credit card is used for payment. The customer is alerted with a message if they are paying on the Customer Portal. In BillMax 2025 Q2 a setting was also added to allow for the staff portal, customer portal, and APIs to be unavailable during a maintenance window. Strong passwords now require 12 or more characters in support of PCI compliance requirements. The BDC report was also updated for the latest requirements. There are also additional REST APIs in this latest release.
BillMax 2025 Q1 - January 26, 2025
BillMax 2025 includes updates to the customer portal: broadband labels for the customer’s plan, messages shown at the top and bottom of the screen for better viewing, and ticket improvements. Additional REST APIs for login and updating a user password. BillMax 2025 is also integrated with Hubspot for a two way synchronization between BillMax (account, user) and Hubspot (contact, deal).
BillMax 2024 Q4 - October 8, 2024
BillMax 2024 has been ported to Debian and tested extensively. This upgrade will require a Debian server. CentOS 7 has passed EOL and new releases will no longer be offered for CentOS 7. As part of the upgrade process the BillMax database will be converted to InnoDb and the character set to UTF8. REST API endpoints are also available for most major objects. Review Swagger documentation from the BillMax website for more details. BillMax now also offers creation and storage of FCC Broadband Labels for open Facilities-Based Broadband Services. An API Integration with Calix Cloud Services for subscriber authentication is included as well.
BillMax 2023 Q3 - August 3, 2023
BillMax 2023 offers integration with Avalara for taxing and reporting purposes. A new version of invoices is also available that streamline the service item display. Support for the BDC report continues to evolve so that the FCC requirements can be met.
BillMax 2022 Q3 - August 8, 2022
BillMax has added the BDC report and also RGU reports. The BillMax Customer Portal now can collect a digital signature for Terms and Conditions. An AWS SES email service is available – know when a document is delivered and opened by a customer. A Mikrotik queue program has been added. Email Customers in Bulk offers a way to email customers with filtering in City, Zip, Virtual Company, etc.

BillMax has updated the FCC 477 for the new 2020 Census data requirement, included new integration with Market Broadband, and made it easy to send emails to all Users on a POP or AP.

BillMax has added the ability to use package/service definitions across multiple companies, an integration with Zoho CRM that syncs BillMax Accounts and Users to Zoho contacts, and an export file to update NetSuite.

BillMax has added the ability to add custom fields to the AP and POP tables. BillMax has expanded Select Fee Groups to support matching recurring fees/one time fees to city, state, country, tax region and pop. The invoice integration with DispatchMe has been updated to handle multiple open jobs on a single account.

BillMax has upgraded its support for CDR billing and included support for the FCC 499, updated the underlying technology for PCI Compliance, and improved data collection for towers and APs.
