BillMax Billing Solutions Now Offers Broadband Labels Functionality

Fort Worth, Texas – Oct. 1, 2024 – BillMax Billing Solutions, a software company for
internet and VoIP providers, now offers clients an easy way to create, manage, and store the FCC required Broadband Labels.

To support the new FCC requirement for Broadband Labels, BillMax has implemented a way to create a label for each stand-alone mass-marketed broadband access service plan. BillMax’s easy to use solution offers ISPs a streamlined way to provide clear, accurate, and standardized information to customers. This service not only simplifies regulatory adherence but also supports the requirement of storing each label for a minimum of two years in an archive that is retrievable in an effortless way.

BillMax creates a CSV file to make the information in the labels machine-readable to enable third parties to easily collect and aggregate data for the purpose of creating comparison-shopping tools for consumers as required. When labels are published, an HTML file is written with all labels so they can be added to a website. BillMax also has a REST API endpoint to retrieve the label for a certain service for an individual customer in an online portal.

BillMax Billing Solutions Now Offers AWS Email Services

Fort Worth, Texas – Oct. 1, 2023 – BillMax Billing Solutions, a software company for internet and VoIP providers, now offers clients an optional service featuring Amazon Web Services Simple Email Service (AWS SES).

Using AWS SES through BillMax has advantages over sending email through a standard mail system, including a greatly improved delivery success rate, reduced administrative burden, status tracking, scalability to tens of thousands of emails, and reputation management for emails sent. BillMax staff will handle proper setup of DNS, SPF alignment, and DKIM signatures so emails are more likely to be received by mail servers and not bounced or placed in spam folders. Emails can be configured to originate with dedicated IP addresses so bad practices of other senders won’t adversely affect the sending domain’s reputation.
